Pre-Order, Refund & Returns Policy
Overview
Andean Blue operates on a pre-order, limited-release model. We do not keep inventory. All products are made only after a release reaches the minimum number of pre-orders required for production.
This policy explains how refunds and returns work within that system.
Pre-Orders & Payment
When you place an order with Andean Blue, you are placing a pre-order.
- Payments are processed securely through Shopify at the time of checkout
- Funds are held while the pre-order window is open
- Production only begins if the minimum order quantity for a release is met
If a Release Does Not Move Forward
If a release does not reach the required minimum:
- The release is canceled
- All pre-orders are fully refunded
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
You will be notified by email if this happens.
If a Release Moves Forward
Once a release reaches its minimum and production begins:
- Pre-orders become confirmed production orders
- At that point, orders cannot be canceled, as materials and manufacturing are committed
Estimated production and delivery timelines will be communicated by email.
Defective or Damaged Items
If you receive a product that is defective or damaged due to materials or construction:
- Please contact us at sales@andeanblue.com within 30 days of delivery
- Include a description and clear photos of the issue
We will evaluate the claim and, if approved, offer a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the situation.
Long-Term Guarantee
We stand behind our products.
If a bag fails due to materials or construction within five (5) years of delivery, please contact us. At our discretion, we will repair, replace, or refund the item.
Normal wear, misuse, or damage caused by improper care is not covered.
Returns for Other Reasons
Because our products are made to order through limited releases:
- We do not accept returns for change of mind or preference
- We do not offer exchanges for size, color, or style once production has begun
- Please make sure to review product details carefully before placing a pre-order.
